Welcome to AJem Fiber Arts! I am a fiber artist who loves showcasing color and small farm fiber. I offer a variety of rolags, batts, hand dyed fibers and handspun yarns.
Each piece is carefully handcrafted with attention to detail and a passion for natural materials. I source my fibers from small farms that practice ethical and sustainable methods.

AJem Limited Lab Series
Where future colorways begin.
The Limited Lab Series is where curiosity, color, and creative experimentation come together. Each release begins with an idea—a new color combination, an unexpected technique, or a moment of inspiration worth exploring.
These are not standard repeatable colorways. They are small-batch experiments created as part of the AJem Fiber Arts dyeing process.
Only two are created.
Each Limited Lab Series release is limited to just two braids. Once those two are gone, the experiment is retired—unless it is later selected and developed into an official AJem colorway.
The Creative Process

Inspiration strikes
A mood, memory, joke, technique, or unexpected color pairing sparks a new idea.

The experiment begins
Colors are layered, blended, and tested by hand to see how the idea develops on fiber.

Two braids are created
The finished experiment is released in an extremely limited batch of only two.

It evolves—or disappears
A Lab Series experiment may eventually become an official repeatable colorway. Otherwise, those two braids remain the only ones ever made.
